Music May #6: Anberlin – Someone Anyone

Today I heard that one of my favourite bands, Anberlin, are splitting up. They have recorded their last album and are soon to go on their final world tour. Their final ever UK date is at the Camden Electric Ballroom and I fully intend to go. It’s sad that they’re splitting, but to celebrate their incredible career and wave them goodbye with a smile and a head-bang as opposed to a puddle of tears, here is the Nightcore version of their hit single Someone Anyone. I made this literally 20 minutes ago. I love it already.

    • You have good taste! That’s one of my favourites too 😀 It’s up there with Dismantle.Repair. and Modern Age.

  2. As sad as it is to see any band go, when working in the music scene it becomes obvious very quickly that bands that remain monolithic in their lineups are not only freaks, but sometimes bad for the band. Infighting develops, cliques and bad communication fester, all hurts the music. Follow the band members, I usually like at least one band that comes out of a break up, sometimes it’s better.
